As many of you know, Nepal holds a special place in my heart after my travels there in 2009. Earlier today, a massive 7.8 earthquake struck in Kathmandu causing nearly a thousand deaths in Nepal and three other neighboring countries. Thousands remain missing in the rubble of Nepal’s older and often poorly constructed buildings, and in some areas more than half of all the homes have been destroyed. Their immediate needs include clean water and medical care, but this will be along term rebuilding project.

I want to encourage people to help out in any way they can. I think the best way to help is to encourage people to donate to the charity of their own choosing providing relief efforts. If you donate to any charity by May 1, 2015 helping in the earthquake relief efforts and show me a receipt, I will provide you with free or discounted services based on the following:
- $50 or more and receive a free 1 hour portrait session ($249 value)
- $200 or more and receive a free family portrait package ($599 value)
- $500 or more and receive $1,000 off of any of my wedding photography packages
