Sarah and Issac’s Wedding

Sycamore, Illinois

Sarah invited me to Illinois to photograph her wedding to Issac.  In classic fashion, it rained before the wedding and stopped just a few minutes before the ceremony.  A few chairs had to be wiped off, but other than that, everything went without a hitch.  The ceremony was very friendly and informal, and the reception took place overlooking a gorgeous park.

One of my favorite things about the day was that Sarah and Issac were willing to play (both literally and figuratively) for the “formal” photos. They let me do some unconventional photos such as the ones on the swing-set and up on the playground equipment, which I felt really allowed the playful personalities of this couple to shine through in the photos.
