The Wedding

Jayson and Charlotte both live in Denver, and decided on a mini destination wedding in Beaver Creek, Colorado. They tried to incorporate anything Colorado into the weekend from the welcome bag items, to entree options, to wedding weekend activities including hiking…with a hint of England as the bride is British. That meant Pimms cocktails at the Friday welcome cocktail party and tea biscuit flavored truffles as favors.

One of my favorite things about this wedding was that the groom was a bit of a sci-fi and fantasy fan just like me. The tables were all named after location and planets from the genre like Hyrule, Gotham, and Alderaan. The head table name was Klendathu, which as we know is the home planet of the bug species from Starship Troopers.
