Digital Wedding Photography Workshop

Come join award winning photography Timothy Faust for this intensive three day wedding photography workshop in the scenic mountains of Breckenridge, Colorado. On day one you will have an opportunity for portfolio/album review, image critique, and a Q&A session with Timothy Faust. Day two is set amidst the fall colors where you will learn outdoor and indoor location lighting, posing techniques, and equipment strategies all while photographing professional models. Day three will be spent in Timothy’s state of the art studio and digital processing center where you will learn how Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop CS3 can improve your digital workflow. You will also learn about advanced storage and archival techniques such as RAID 1 hard drives, network storage solutions, and faster ways to catalog your images. This workshop is open to all skill levels, but instruction is designed for those new to professional wedding photography or established pros who want to build their portfolios and learn the latest techniques.

Friday, September 19th

  • 6:30pm -8:30pm Meet and Greet at Timothy Faust Photography Studio
  • Bring 5-10 images on 35mm slide or digital media for an introduction at the studio. Tell the rest of the class a little about yourself and your images and what you wish to learn or improve upon during the course of the weekend.

Saturday, September 20th

  • Morning: Photography with models on location
  • Afternoon: Image critique and discussion
  • Late Afternoon: Photography with models on location
  • Evening: Image Critique

Sunday, September 21th

  • Morning: Unlock the power of Adobe Lightroom to maximize productivity
  • Late morning: Digital black and white techniques
  • Afternoon: Lunch (included) and informal discussions
