If you have been following my blog, you know that I started photographing Asher only a few hours after he was born at the hospital.  I will be meeting with him and his parents several times over the course of his first year to make images for a ‘Baby’s First Year’ album I will put together for his parents.

I got a call from Alex a few hours after Asher was born, and he invited me to their hospital room to get Asher’s very first baby photos.  This will be an ongoing project that started with Heather’s pregnancy photos and will follow Asher through the first year of this life.

These are the first images from a 12 month project involving Heather and Alex and their child.  Rather than just do a one time portrait session, I’ll be documenting the first year of the child’s life starting with last last weeks of pregnancy and finishing on his first birthday.

Update – the baby’s name is Asher
